I present to you:
The Monster Egg Sandwich. All you have to do to make such a gigantic monstrosity of a breakfast sandwich is simply pour egg whites into a small pan, put a lid over it and let it cook into a perfect circle. Fold the egg circle up, put some cheese on top and pile it on to a bagel (I used a Weight Watchers Whole Wheat bagel). So filling, so good.
I’d just like to share some new discoveries I’ve made this past week and how they’ve quickly made it to the top of my favourite cereal and favourite snack list. The first one is PopCorners, a chip very similar to Pop Chips because they’re both popped (hence the name). Truth be told, although Pop Chips are trendy, I actually like PopCorners more. They come in 5 flavours: Sea Salt, Jalapeno (my favourite), Butter, Kettle and White Cheddar. All of them are pretty great. I don’t know where to find these in the states, but I had seen them once in a small market in Chicago. For Canadians, I found them at Bulk Barn, so I’d assume that the whole chain would carry the brand.
The second one is a new cereal I tried out: Nature’s Path Crunchy Vanilla Sunrise. Let me just say, this cereal does NOT pass the eat-without-milk test, simply because there’s really nothing in it except for the ingredients listed on the front, plus a little bit of organic evaporated cane juice. However, this is a good thing. That means no mindless snacking on handfuls of cereal. Trust me when I say that it tastes absolutely amazing with unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
I’m off to school now and I’m definitely feeling a smoothie for the ride there. I’m going to try something totally different and add apples to my smoothie, just because I have huge bags of apples that I can’t keep up with.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
